Stately Glass is a family run business which has been passed over from father to son since 1912. We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship in the making of high quality Leaded Light windows and of their restoration.

Withstanding our passion to preserve historic windows and to create stained glass panels, which will be admired for many years to come, we also move with the times, utilising modern systems i.e. encapsulation of leaded windows into sealed units - perhaps toughened, low-e or both.  Some, initially in a poor state, taken from wooden framed windows and restored, before being fitted into UPVC frames.  We also, make faux leaded windows which are difficult to tell apart from the real thing, as we solder the joints and blacken them in the same way.

Not only, now on level footing with regular glazing systems, but surging ahead in embracing the future, in the fitting of switchable glass and films - see our page on this. 
And yes:  We do all traditional glazing.
